My kids are can be very hard on everything. The older
ones play on it too and it is holding up just fine. It does take a
little bit to figure out how all the features work but it is worth the
time. It has an application for whatever you are out doing.

We have been through many strollers in the past. I wish
I would have just spent the money to get the Bugaboo Cameleon because we
would have saved a lot of money in the long run, and it is so nice to
have.

Bugaboo Cameleon -
like Frog or Gecko, but not as compact as the Bee
by
coops32

Top 500, Jan 11 '07
Pros: adjustable handle bar, washable fabric, lots of options,
versatile in use, quality workmanship
Cons: bassinet and seat share same frame - limits use, not easy
to fold down
Bugaboo Cameleon is great for us! Baby products have truly advanced in
the past seven years since I had my last baby! I thought I had the
dream stroller back then with my “Baby Jogger”, but when I started to
investigate today’s ...

The Rolls-Royce of

Pros: Quality, mobility, weight, design, form and function
Cons: Price
Intro I'm a brand new father of a beautiful baby girl. Having said
that, I felt that one of my duties as a responsible parent was to
research and buy a stroller that was safe, would last, and was easy to
use. Months before my daughter arrived, ...

Couldn't be more
perfect
by

Pros: Great for tall kids, tall parents, and all stroller
nappers
Cons: Only up to 40 lbs weight limit for child
I got the Bugaboo Chameleon when my son was 18 months old, and haven't
regretted it for a second. It was at my house in three days, and
assembled in about 10 minutes, even without looking at the
instructions. I did have to pump up the tires a little at ...

Thinking about
using bassinette for sleeping in early days?
by
bugaboomom
, Mar 06 '06
Pros: VERSATILE!
Cons: 2006 Peg Perego infant seats can't be used with adapters
to plug into stroller.
While we haven't actually used our Chameleon as a stroller yet, we are
already in love with it and our baby is only 17 days old. This review
is for anyone considering using it as a bassinette first in the early
days in their bedroom. One of the ...

Beautiful stroller
but some major structural and customer service related disappointments
by
nl15 , Jul 29 '07
Pros: Quality ride, beautiful design
Cons: Broken parts, impractical design for accessories, and
delayed response from customer service.
After extensive research on strollers we decided to buy the Bugaboo
Cameleon for our newborn as it appeared to fit our needs most closely.
The wheel combination of small swivel in front and large in back (and
the option to reverse) seemed to be the best ...

Pros: It comes in pink. Outstanding customer service and
follow-up
Cons: The handle broke off from the bassinet traumatizing me
and my child UNSAFE!
I have been using my bugaboo chameleon for two weeks. Today, after
bundling my 17 pound 5 month old daughter into her snowsuit and
loading her into her chameleon bassinet, I lifted the bassinet up to
carry it outside to attach it to the carriage and the ...

DOES NOT WORK WELL
W/ PEG PEREGGO VIAGGIO
by
jbniven , Nov 28 '06
Pros: Nice stoller. Looks good. baby likes it.
Cons: Doesnt work with the Peg Perego car seat.
Great stroller. A little awkward to figure out initially but once a
little time spent on it it makes sense. My wife and I are really
disappointed though as we already had bought a Peg Perego Viaggio baby
seat and the marketing material from Bugaboo said ...

Best Stroller Ever
by
ritzgirl ,Feb 04 '07
Pros: Easy to push, comfortable for baby, adjustable handle
bars, suspension wheels, really stylish

Our newborn loves to sleep and be walked in this stroller. The one
hand control and the suspension wheels are excellent. Well worth the

Well worth the
price!
by
cxshih ,Feb 25 '07
Pros: Extremely convenient. A complete package with all the
frills and well worth the price.
Cons: None. Except the envious glares of those you pass in the
mall.
We bought the Bugaboo after much research and it is hands down the
best stroller out there. It folds down into a nice compact profile
that can fit into the trunk of a small car. We used the bassinet for
baby's first 2-3 months instead of the crib and our Maxi-Cosi
cabriofix seat fit conveniently into it seemlessly. Now that we're
using it as an infant seat, the reclining feature is extremely quick
and simple to use and we don't have to jostle the baby around to lower
him down. The stroller also rolls right onto a restaurant table at the
right height without blocking traffic like some of the other full size
travel systems. When you take all the positives into account and the
fact that this one stroller can serve as a bassinet, full size
stroller, and basically an umbrella stroller that isn't the size of an
Escalade the price is well worth it's value.

Don't think about
it anymore...just buy it and you'll love it!!
by

,Dec 06 '05
Pros: Mobility in everyway, Colors, construction, Compliments!!
Cons: even with the deal I found PRICE!
I did my research on this one......
Being priced at $879.00 it is a pretty steep price for a stroller and
everyone is looking for some sort of deal. You're out of luck with
this product unless you are buying it from MooseJaw. Most stores
retailing this item are not allowed to discount the stroller at all
but some offer free shipping. Well at MooseJaw we were able to
purchase the Bugaboo Cameleon and could of had the free shipping and
they offer MooseJaw reward points that equal up to approx. $90.00
towards...and Dad's out there get this...Outdoors Sporting Goods!!!!
(more Bugaboo accessories).
I don't in anyway have any affiliation with MooseJaw...just trying to
help out all those Bugaboo fans out there.

Love it!
by
katy2005 ,Oct 27 '05
Pros: smooth ride, comfortable seat, the baby can lay flat &
sleep, and looks cool
Cons: the price, still need to practice how to open & close the
frame.
Just received the new stroller this week. I wanted to buy the stroller
when the Frog first came out. But, my son was already walking and we
had 5 different strollers at home. With the new baby, I tried to talk
myself out of the new 'trendy' stroller and bought a double stroller.
But, I couldn't resist. Even though i still need to practice how to
open and close the frame, it is a great stroller. We love the handle,
the ride, the versatility, and the look of the stroller. Keep in mind
it is a HUGE stroller. you may need a suv or mini van to travel with
it. The baby loves the new stroller! and she looks so cute in it!

Bugaboo Cameleon
Maybe a Reasonably Priced Stroller After All!
by
janciebee
,Jul 01 '06
Pros: Durable and good resale value
Cons: Takes some getting use to
I'm not a person that makes extravagant purchases very often. However,
after some very bad stroller experiences with the last baby, I was
determined that baby number two would have a really good stroller.
The only drawback I've seen with the Bugaboo Cameleon has been the
price. After reading an in-depth http://www.unique-baby-gear-ideas.com/bugaboo-stroller-cameleon-review
I decided to bite the bullet and get one.
I have not been disappointed. I figure with the use I've gotten out of
it combined with the resale prices I'm seeing that I've gotten a
pretty good deal. Not a cheap experience, but not as pricey as the
initial purchase amount might seem.
